The short answer

EkamOS is event venue and banquet hall booking software for venues in India, on their own or attached to a hotel. It keeps a catalogue of spaces and packages, tracks each booking from tentative hold to confirmed with guest count, advance and balance, locks the booking amounts once an invoice is issued, bills with GST, and tracks enquiries as leads.

Why venues switch

Dates, advances and a bill that does not drift

  • Without EkamOS

Dates are held in a diary, and two families are told the same Saturday is free.

    With EkamOS

Every booking is in one list with a day view, marked tentative or confirmed, with its space, guest count, advance and balance.

  • Without EkamOS

The final bill quietly differs from what was agreed.

    With EkamOS

Once an invoice is issued, the booking amounts are locked, so the bill cannot drift.

  • Without EkamOS

Enquiries arrive by phone and WhatsApp and are never followed up.

    With EkamOS

Enquiries are tracked as leads, and a converted lead is linked to its event booking.

Questions

Event venue questions, answered

What does EkamOS do for a banquet hall or event venue?

It keeps your halls, lawns and packages in a catalogue, tracks each booking from tentative hold to confirmed with guest count, advance and balance, locks the booking amounts once an invoice is issued, bills with GST, and tracks enquiries as leads.

Is there an availability calendar for my halls?

Not yet. Bookings have a day view and an upcoming list today; a hall availability calendar is on the roadmap.

Can I run a venue that is part of my hotel?

Yes. Add the venue as a location under the same login as the hotel, or add event bookings to the hotel location as an add-on.

How are advances and the balance handled?

Each booking records its advance and balance. When you issue the invoice, the booking amounts lock so the final bill matches what was agreed, and corrections go through credit notes.

Does EkamOS cost food packages or produce banquet event orders?

Not yet. Both are on the roadmap. Packages today are catalogue items priced per guest.
